Arzana Launching Ceremony

NMDC launched its first trailing suction hopper Arzana on Wednesday, September 20 at Royal IHC’s shipyard in Kinderdijk, The Netherlands. It was a great honour to have had H.E Saeed Ali Yousef Al Nowais, Ambassador of the UAE to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and NMDC’s board members along with our clients from different regions attending the Launch Ceremony. Arzana was launched by our CEO Yasser Zaghloul and quoted “The design is the result of the long-term business partnership between IHC and NMDC, It is a tailor-made solution that combines shallow draft and a large dredging depth with high manoeuvrability. The ARZANA has also been specifically designed for operating in high temperatures. We are confident that this new vessel will contribute to our aim of positioning NMDC as a leader in our industry.” That is another milestone for NMDC to achieve its target in the fleet expansion plan which will open doors of opportunity and additional client solutions for future development.
